RECETAS DE MICRONESIA BILINGÜE


The most basic foods of EF Micronesia's cuisine are banana, taro, yam, breadfruit fruit, pandanus and coconut. The typical dishes of the country are made with some of these ingredients crushed together with coconut milk, cooked wrapped in banana leaves. Many soups are consumed that usually take fish and coconut milk. Other typical foods are papaya, sweet potato, citrus, cassava, fish and seafood. Fish, seafood and chicken are the most common source of protein, usually eat this meat marinated with citrus. Formerly the inhabitants of the island habitually ate dog meat.
